◎Borrowing

1. You can check out the materials at Circulation Desk.

2. To borrow materials from the Library, you must present a valid University ID card. The University ID card is for personal use only.

3. Most materials in the library are available for borrowing except journals, newspapers, microforms, maps, audio-visual materials and other reserved materials etc. which can be only used in the library.

◎Return

1. All materials should be returned to the circulation desk during library opening hours before the due date. After returning, please review your records on the library website or check your E-mail to confirm the circulation status.

2. If an item is overdue, user privileges will be suspended and NT$5 per day per item would be charged as penalty. Fines can accumulate to NT$150, then the card will be suspended.

3. When students graduate, transfer, take leave, drop out of school, or faculty members leave, all borrowed materials must be returned. If your library privileges are still suspended at this time, please pay off the fine to apply for the leave.

◎Renewal

1. Users with renewal rights can renew a material as long as it is not overdue or reserved by another user. Material renewals should be made one day before the due date and the new due date is started from the original due date.

2. To renew an item online, please link Library Online Catalogs.

◎Place a Hold

1. Once the materials you need had been checked out, you can place a hold online.

2. When the requested materials are available, the system will automatically send you an email message. The materials will be held for 5 days at the Circulation Desk. If they are not picked up during the period, they will be moved to next requester in line or back to library stack.

◎Inter-Campus Loan

Because the merging of the circulation system is still in the process, you can apply for the inter-campus loans between Nanzih, Cijin, Diyi, Jiangong and Yanchao Campuses on Southern Taiwan Teaching/Learning Resource Center-Regional Cooperation Platform for Library Resources Sharing Service. The requested items will be delivered by the official cars on weekdays. Also, you can apply for a Virtual Library Card and borrow items at 5 campuses in person.
